Broadband Ultrasonic Driver

The MicroSpray Broadband Ultrasonic Driver powers and controls MicroSpray ultrasonic nozzles across a 25–120 kHz tracking range, continuously tracking each nozzle's resonant frequency and compensating automatically for thermal drift and liquid-load variation. The free-standing AC version accepts 90–260 VAC, 50/60 Hz input power with a standard U.S. male-end line cord.

External I/O & Control

External trigger input

The external trigger input remotely energizes and de-energizes power to the nozzle, bypassing the driver's internal circuitry.

Accepted control signals

  • N/O (normally open) switch or relay contact
  • N/C (normally closed) switch or relay contact
  • 3–11 V (AC or DC, polarity insensitive)
  • 12–48 V (AC or DC, polarity insensitive)
  • 90–250 V (AC or DC, polarity insensitive)

Alarm output

The alarm output provides nozzle-error status through normally open or normally closed relay contacts built into the driver. In an error condition the contacts CLOSE for N/O operation and OPEN for N/C operation.

RS-485 communications

The driver can be adapted to run with RS-485 communications. Contact us with your control-system requirements.
